On Fridays Miss Fisher, our school counselor has started coming into our classroom. She’ll visit to talk to us about all sorts of topics, especially about how to be a good learner, listener and friend. On her first visit last Friday she read a book and talked about “bucket-filling,” or making others feel good. Each student gave an example of things you can do to “fill someone’s bucket” like give a compliment, or help clean up a mess, or share materials. Then we added stones to a basket and tried to fill it right up. Have you done any bucket filling today?
